What is your job description and role?
I belong to the accounting division of the GPC Group (GPC Avic Pte. Ltd.) and provide consulting services from the tax and accounting aspects for Japanese corporate clients entering the Singapore market, as well as bookkeeping, tax and audit support after their entry. My role is to make various proposals to our clients from accounting and taxation aspects, manage the progress of the accounting team’s work, and check the implementation work.

Specific Project Details
We provide consulting services for Japanese companies entering the Internet business, consulting business, restaurants, and other businesses, as well as bookkeeping, taxation, and audit support after the business entry.
Recently, we have been working on cross-border M&A with our M&A team and GPC Japan.
During the M&A process, I was responsible for financial due diligence.

What do you want to challenge in the future?
I believe that we should increase the areas we can cover more and more so that we can make better proposals not only to Singapore but also to other Asian countries when Japanese companies enter the market.

How do you spend your holiday in Singapore? Tell us about it.
My hobby is traveling. Recently I went to Bintan Island (an Indonesian resort) with my family and Johor Bahru (a Malaysian shopping paradise) with my colleagues from work. Both of these trips can be done in less than two hours without flying, so I highly recommend them.
