Since September 2023, the process of applying for a Singapore Employment Pass (EP) has undergone significant changes.

In addition to the launch of the “COMPASS” system, it is now mandatory to have your educational credentials certified by a third-party agency to prevent the submission of fake Graduation certificates when applying for a Employment Pass (EP). The COMPASS system and educational verification requirement will also apply to existing expatriates whose Employment Pass (EP) expire after September 2024.
